Make a list of everyone you would like to invite.
- Co-workers
- Aquaintances
- Neighbors
- Day Care Providers
- Loved Ones
- Everyone you know
- Decide if you want a theme. Get creative! Think of all the things you love to do with your girl friends, then turn it into a party! Some suggestions are: home for the holidays, beach, pajama, breakfast in bed, margarita, spa, princess, decades, dress up and mother and daughter. Make sure your Host has extra catalogs for pre-party orders (for those who can not attend).
- Choose what to eat or drink. Keep it simple! Remember the refreshments compliment the party, they arenÕt the party! Whether you are cooling down from the summer heat or sipping some hot cocoa, itÕs all about creating the perfect atmosphere so your guests feel right at home.
- Set it up! Light some candles to set the mood, and choose an eclectic music playlist that will invite conversation and allow your guests to relax.

Set a date and time. DonÕt try accommodating everyoneÕs schedules. There will always be time for more parties! Pick a time that works for you and put it on the calendar. Once itÕs in ink, start spreading the word about your party.
- Send out invitations. Give people the chance to plan ahead. Avoid doing things last-minute. When it comes to invitations, adding a personal touch is the best way to go. Drop it off if you can, or write a short note to each person telling them why they should come.
- Follow up! To ensure the perfect party, make sure you contact each guest by phone to reserve their place. Remind everyone they can invite a friend, and be ready to give directions to the party location. Contact your consultant with your guest totals preferably two days in advance.
- Have Fun! Take orders - Let your guests know an estimation of when their items will arrive and close your party no later than 3 - 5 days after. You can still take post party orderÕs to increase party sales for the Hostess Rewards.
